Doctor en Historia por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid con la tesis titulada: La reorganización y la oposición del PCE al franquismo (1939-1946). Posee un curso de posgrado por la UNED en Especialista Universitario en Archivística.
Ha trabajado en varios proyectos históricos como: San Fernando de Henares para la recuperación del Patrimonio histórico de la localidad (2001-2002) y Proyecto Histórico sobre la memoria perdida en Villamiel de Toledo (2007-2008). Su labor de investigación ha sido diversa, destacando la oposición al franquismo y la historia social en la militancia comunista.
A lo largo de estos años ha escrito artículos para Congresos, prólogo de libros, periódicos y revistas y tiene varias publicaciones: Madrid Clandestino. La reestructuración del PCE, 1939-1945” (2002), La lucha es tu vida. Retrato de nueve mujeres republicanas combatiente, (2008) y Yuncler, un viaje por la historia (2017). También ha colaborada en la obra colectiva titulada Checas: miedo y odio en España durante la Guerra Civil. La voz de los testimonios en la Causa General (2017). Forma parte del grupo del proyecto de investigación, Madrid, una ciudad en guerra, 1936-1953 y de Historia Social, ambas de la UCM. Y en los últimos años ha trabajado como asesor histórico, archivero y documentalista en varios proyectos e investigaciones históricas.
